Once upon a time in Europe there was a very poor family. They had almost nothing. And in that family, there was a little boy who had a pet dragon.
One day the boy's mother said, "Bob, you must go to the village with your pet dragon and find a job. If you don't, we will surely starve."
So the little boy said goodbye to his family, jumped on his dragon and flew away.
they flew for about 5 minutes when the village came into view. Bob was searching for a job, when he saw a poster hanging on a wall out of the corner of his eye. He turned around and looked at it. It said:
"....Whoever can kill this monster, the Horrible Unadorable, gets 100,000,000 pounds and 50 pence.
Signed by: The King"
Bob thought, "If I kill the Horrible Unadorable, then my family won't be poor anymore!"
This was his only chance. He decided to go. He climbed up his dragon's tail, sat in front of his wings, grabbed his horns for steering and flew away to kill the Horrible Unadorable.
They had been flying for a long time when Bob's dragon got tired. Bob told his dragon that he would look around for some place to land. A few minutes later, Bob saw a field.
"That will be a nice place to land." said Bob, pointing to the field. Then they zoomed down and landed.
They rested for a few minutes and then walked to the edge of the field, where there was a forest filled with tons of apple trees! They picked some apples and ate them. They were justa bout to leave when Bob saw something in the corner of his eye. He spun around and saw a gruesome creature crawling in the field.
He said, "Look" and pointed at the monster, which happened to be the Horrible Unadorable. It saw them and grabbed them.
"I WILL EAT YOU IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME SOMETHING WORTH A LOT OF MONEY!", the Horrible Unadorable boomed.
"I - I - I don't have anything worth a lot of money," said Bob.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING WORTH A LOT OF MONEY!?" boomed the Horrible Unadorable again.
" I mean I don't have anything worth a lot of money." said Bob.
"THEN I WILL DEVOUR YOU!" boomed the Horrible Unadorable.
Just as the Horrible Unadorable was about to eat them, Bob yelled, "If you don't eat us, we will show you the way to Candy-land. The Horrible Unadorable always wanted to go to Candy-land, so he put them down and listened for directions.
Bob told the Horrible Unadorable to go across the bridge, through the forest and turn left.
The Horrible Unadorable thanked them, and went on his way. But the first step he took sent him tumbling down to his death.
Bob climbed on his dragon and flew away to get the king. When the king heard the good news, he jumped for joy and gave them their money. Bob bought a new house, bigger fields, and a flat screen TV. And he lived happily ever after.
